Created and performed by Brooke Jordan, Nicole Quenelle, and Marisol Rosa Shapiro
Boulder, CO. September 2013

A workshop production of suspicion, intrigue, mail delivery high jinks, and a portal to a magical universe. Politically questionable dance numbers, embarrassing karaoke, gender-bending disguises, and melodramatic monologues about the history of the word ‘Umbrella’.

This workshop production was made possible in part by a 2012 residency at Goshen Green Farm in Goshen, NY.

“Not a word of dialogue exists in this play; every syllable is a note from a noteworthy classical composer. You’ll recognize them all. And laugh yourself hoarse.” — Allan Hall, CVNC, an online arts journal

“It … could have been lifted, whole, from the landmark works of comedians Ernie Kovacs or Sid Caesar.” — The Independent

Audience response:
"I either loved it or hated it. I can't decide."
"This is exactly what happens in the lives of people with PTSD. But weirder."
